2. Website access and hosting

This website is hosted by Alfahosting GmbH, Edmund-von-Lippmann-Straße 13–15, 06112 Halle (Saale), Germany. When a page is accessed, the server receives data including the IP address, time of access, requested page or file, amount of data transferred, status code and browser information. The previously visited page may also be processed if this information is transmitted.

This data is used to deliver the website, troubleshoot errors and protect against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. The hosting provider receives the technical data.

Connection data is needed for transmission. Server logs are retained only for as long as necessary for operation, error analysis or the investigation of specific security incidents; they are then deleted or anonymised.

3. Cookies, animation and product selection

The website code sets no cookies and uses neither Local Storage nor Session Storage. No visitor profile, audience measurement or persistent visitor recognition is used. The opening animation is based only on the current page visit. Product selections and filters are processed in memory; a selected ASIN may appear in the page URL and normal browser history.

Product images, scripts and styling are loaded from the website's own hosting. Fonts are provided by your device. No maps, social media widgets, videos or Amazon scripts are embedded.

4. Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us, your contact details and the content of your enquiry are processed to handle your request. Depending on the nature of the enquiry, this is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps prior to entering into a contract, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in the legitimate interest of responding to enquiries. The information is deleted once the matter has been fully resolved, unless statutory retention duties or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require further retention.

The published email address is a Gmail account. Google also processes communication data when this account is used. For users in the European Economic Area, the responsible Google entity is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, in particular by Google LLC in the United States. 5. External links to Amazon

Amazon is accessed only when you click a labelled link. Amazon then receives, in particular, the connection data needed to load the page. The link opens in a new tab; this website uses no affiliate tracking ID. The relevant provider is responsible for further processing on Amazon. 6. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Any consent you have given may be withdrawn with effect for the future.

Right to object: Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

There is no automated decision-making, including profiling. You are not required to provide personal information to visit this website; however, the website cannot be delivered without technical connection data.
